About:

This blog is predominately about camera trapping in California. We camera trap to save our souls and to teach primary school students about biology and conservation. We will also touch on other camera trapping news and musings, sets from afar, mediocre herpetology, sucky birding, and other natural history discussions.

Peregrine Falcon Nest Cam

The Santa Cruz Predatory Bird Research Group has had their falcon cams going for a few months but we finally have baby falcons on the PG&E building in SF.  They hatched in the beginning of the month. A 2011 SF nest diary is available if you want to catch-up on the details of this year's nest. Streaming video of most likely sleeping baby falcons can be seen on their website.  Image angle is slightly better than the Codger's Owl cam. Any updates on that Owl cam Codge?

UPDATE: The Codger gives us an update on his screech owl.  Sorry to see the owl go, but I am very much looking forward to video next year.  Good luck to finding the nest Codger.
